We also realize that many other websites do not provide this kind of functionality. So what happens if you’re on a website and increase or decrease the text size to your liking, but then visit another page that does not have a text resizer? By managing the settings of your browser (such as Internet Explorer or Safari), you can ensure that your preferences in terms of text size are displayed no matter what website you visit.
Each browser is different, but here are some tips on text resizing in some of the most popular browsers:
Internet Explorer
- Go to the “View” menu
- Scroll down to “Text Size”
- Choose between “Largest, larger, medium, smaller and smallest” depending on your preference.

- Choose between “Increase” and “Decrease” depending on your preference.
Note: This can also be done with a keyboard shortcut. If you’d like to increase the text size, hold down the “Ctrl” and hit ”+” twice (if you’re using a Mac, the process is to hold the Command key and hit ”+”.). To decrease, simply follow the same procedure and use the ”-” key instead of the ”+”.
